1. Venum Giant 3.0 Boxing Glove
(Best for competition bouts)
Pros
- Velcro or lace-up option: You can choose whether you want lace-up or velcro with these gloves. Lace-up gloves are better for sparring and competition due to greater wrist support whereas velcro is better for pad/bag training due to ease of use.
- Nappa leather: This is a premium leather material which you will find amongst the best boxing gloves. Nappa leather is also used in high-end sports cars due to its anti-scratch/tear resistance. Such cars include the Bentley Continental GT as well as the McLaren F1.
- Water-repellent lining: Moisture is prevented from entering the padding because the lining is made from nylon, which is great at absorbing water that could otherwise be within the glove.
Cons
- Expensive: These gloves are the most expensive on this list, but they are relatively cheap in comparison to other gloves on the market.
- Stitching: One, and only one online review shows the stitching has been an issue with these gloves and while the stitching doesn’t impact how long the glove lasts, it impacts how it looks. See more reviews here.

The Venum Giant 3.0 Boxing Glove is number one on my list today because it has the finest quality material (Nappa leather) amongst all other Venum boxing gloves.
Secondly, it also protects your hands really well thanks to its triple density foam. However…
I would like to see an additional layer of foam which other boxing brands (such as Hayabusa) have created.
If you’re looking to train regularly or train for a long period of time and you want a pair of gloves which will last a long time and protect your hands in turn, then these gloves are for you.

2. Venum Gladiator 3.0 Boxing Glove
(Best-looking pair) 
Pros
- Semi-aniline leather: This is a very durable leather, even more durable than fully aniline leather because of its pigment light surface coating which allows these gloves to retain colour and resist wear/tear.
- Attached thumb: These Gladiator gloves come with an attached thumb to prevent you from breaking your thumb.
- Ventilation system: Allows these gloves to breathe which will help prevent your hands from overheating.
- Great design: These Gladiator gloves look absolutely brilliant in my opinion.
Cons
- Expensive: The Gladiator 3.0s are less expensive than the Giant 3.0s we’ve reviewed above, but the gloves are still up there close to the hundred pound/dollar mark.
- Wrist support could be better: All of the gloves reviewed today (apart from the Giant 3.0’s lace-up) have great velcro but the downside to all of the gloves are the bendy wrists.
Summary
The Venum Gladiator 3.0 Boxing Glove not only looks cool but are made from the very durable semi-aniline leather.
I’ve found these gloves to be very breathable which is because of its ventilation system.

3. Venum Unisex Sharp Boxing Gloves
Pros
- Handmade Nappa leather: This is the third glove on the list with real leather (the rest are synthetic). Nappa leather is a super strong leather commonly found in high-end sports cars such as the Bentley Continental GT.
- Alignment: These Sharp gloves are well aligned (from your wrist to your fingertips) due to their triple density anatomical foam.
- Innovative mesh: Offers a nice cool feeling to your hands as it thermo-regulates the glove which helps prevent overheating and odour.
Cons
- High-priced glove: These gloves range from £77-84 (or $91-99 if you’re in the US) which make the Sharp a mid-range priced boxing glove.
- Only one colour option: These only come in the mixed black, white, red colour you can see in the image above (which I personally like).
Summary
Venum Unisex Sharp Boxing Gloves not only make you look sharp in the ring, but they also last a long time thanks to their real Nappa leather which is commonly used in sports car seats.
While the gloves are very expensive, the leather material and triple-density foam make them good at protecting your hands and for this reason, I would buy them.
Lastly, Sharp gloves could do with some more colour options but personally:
The fewer options there are to choose from the easier it is for me to get something because otherwise, I can’t make my mind up. Do you relate?
4. Venum Unisex Adult Elite Boxing Glove
(Best all-round – meaning – price, quality, and popularity)
Pros
- Mesh panel: A mesh panel is a better thermal regulator than the common perforated palm regulator meaning you’ll find these gloves don’t heat up your hands.
- Good seams: Seams are what hold the glove together from the inside and these Unisex boxing gloves come with super-strong seams.
- Triple density foam: These gloves protect your hand really well. Whenever I use Adult Elite gloves on the heavy bag, I can feel my knuckle going into the bag better. However, my hands are still slightly sore afterwards so an additional layer would make these better.
Cons
- Wrist support: Whenever I use these gloves, I always feel a slight pain at the top of my wrist and this is because the wrist compartment can bend (even when the velcro is done up well) so a good pair of hand wraps would help.
Summary
This is a great all-round glove because:
- It is affordable
- High-quality
- And is the most sold Venum boxing glove on Amazon. However…
While I own this glove and use it regularly, my wrists sometimes feel sore after 12-rounds on the heavy bag because the wrist compartment isn’t completely stable.
5. Venum Men’s Impact Boxing Glove
Pros
- Triple density foam: This is common in most Venum boxing gloves as the thick layers of foam protect your hands well.
- Great design: The design of this glove is impressive with multiple options to choose from. For example, you can get a camouflage effect like you can see in the image above or many more you can choose here.
- Thumb attachment: Also comes with a thumb attachment to help prevent you from breaking your thumb or gouging your opponent’s eye.
Cons
- Sometimes too small: If you have massive hands, the Impact gloves might not be for you because some people have complained about the inner hand compartment being a bit too small. The Unisex Venum Boxing Glove would be best if you have giant hands although… the majority of reviewers have found the sizing to be fine.
- Skintex Artificial leather: Made from a Skintex leather which is an artificial leather as shown here:
Artificial leather is not as high quality as real leather.

In summary, while I like this gloves looks, protection, thumb attachment, and online reviews, I feel that the Skintex leather makes this glove as not as good as it can be. However…
The upside to this is that it’s a cheaper glove meaning you won’t be breaking the bank.

Pros
- Triple density foam padding: These Challenger 3.0’s have the exact same foam padding as the first pair of gloves rated on this list and they have half the price!
- Large velcro wrist: This is very helpful for making your wrist as stable as possible allowing you to pack a nice punch.
- Design: I like how Venum has designed these gloves with the choice of colours as well as a signature embossed Venum logo which has become so popular due to their brand ambassadors.
- Low cost: This is one of the lowest-priced gloves on the list retailing at £48 (or $58).
Cons
- Wrist support: The wrist compartment is very flexible (despite the large velcro wrist) meaning you need to get a good pair of hand wraps with the gloves if you don’t already have a pair.
Summary
The Venum Challenger 3.0 Boxing Gloves are great in comparison to the more expensive Venum gloves because they have similar features.
For example, like the Venum 3.0 Giant, these Challenger gloves also have:
- Triple density foam padding
- Large velcro wrists
- And a nice design
The only difference is that these Challenger gloves are cheaper and not made from real leather.
7. Venum Challenger 2.0 Boxing Gloves
(Best for beginners on a budget)
Pros
- Stay cool: These 2.0 gloves come with a breathable interior mesh meaning they are very thermo-dynamic (good at letting heat out and cool air in).
- Well padded: You will feel less shock and more protection with these gloves because of the Challenger 2.0’s triple density foam.
- Prevents broken thumbs: The 100% full attached thumb means you can protect your thumb and your opponent’s eye (as non-attached thumbs can poke another fighter’s eye).
- Low-cost: One of the lowest cost gloves on this review meaning you can save more.
Cons
- Low in stock: There is a limited amount of these gloves in stock due to popularity (see here).
- Synthetic material: Gloves with synthetic material are not as durable as gloves made from real leather, like the gloves you can see at the top of this list.
Summary
Overall, these are a great pair of boxing gloves because they will protect your hands well and you’ll be able to save on the reduced cost.
What would make these gloves even better is a leather outer material but this would increase the price dramatically.
8. Venum Training Camp 2.0 Boxing Gloves
Pros
- Compact fit: With the Training Camps wide velcro enclosure and triple density foam, these gloves are able to take some impact which in turn provides hand and wrist protection.
- Attached thumb: These gloves come with attached thumb meaning you won’t risk breaking your thumb.
- Reinforced seam: The reinforced seam (which is what holds the insides together) are super strong meaning the Training Camps will hold their shape for a long time, even in multiple tough training camps.
Cons
- Expensive: These gloves cost a lot of money with its price in the high sixties.
- Synthetic: These are not real full-grain leather which is a stronger and more durable material.
Summary:
I’m not a massive fan of the Training Camps due to their price and if you’re looking for a glove with both a great price and quality for your training, I’d recommend getting the Venum Unisex Adult Elite Boxing Glove.
There aren’t many reviews online too which tells me the Training Camps may be less popular.
9. Venum Contender 2.0 Boxing Gloves
(Cheapest adult boxing gloves)
Pros
- Thumb protection: An attached thumb protects your thumbs from hitting your opponent which means you won’t risk breaking your thumb.
- Secure wrist: Your wrists will feel nice and secure with the large velcro enclosure this glove comes with.
- Low cost: This is the lowest-priced Venum boxing glove on this review.
Cons
- Known to tear: These Contender 2.0’s can tear/rip with lots of use. People online have said the 2.0’s have torn within a month. However, most people have found no problem with durability.
- Synthetic material: These gloves have no leather material in and are therefore not as long-lasting.
- Injected foam: Instead of the new triple density foam which many Venum gloves now have, these instead have an injected form of padding which doesn’t protect your hands as well.
Summary
While these gloves are low cost and perfect for a beginner training one-two times per week, they are one of Venum’s oldest gloves and are made with inexpensive materials.
10. Venum Unisex-Youth Challenger 2.0 Kids Boxing Gloves
(Best Venum boxing glove for juniors)
Pros
- Protective: If this was a ‘Top 10 Best Venum Boxing Glove For Juniors‘ review these gloves would be at the top. This is because Challenger 2.0’s come with a triple density foam which will reduce the shock on the young boy/girls hand.
- Easy adjustment: You’ll experience a very fast put-on and take-off with these gloves because they come with a large velcro enclosure.
- Nice design: I like the design of these Challenger 2.0’s because of the large imprinted logo and white shapes which almost look like boat sails if you look closely.
Cons
- Too big: Those who are younger than ten years old will find these gloves to be too big. The age rating on these challenger gloves is from 10-14. If you’re getting a pair of boxing gloves for kids younger than the age of 10, I’d recommend getting these gloves here because they will be a better fitting glove.

In summary, these Challenger 2.0’s are a great pair of boxing gloves if you’re getting them for someone between the ages of 10-14 because the gloves will protect them well, are easy to use, and look great. However…

How to Clean Venum Boxing Gloves
Venum boxing gloves are super easy to clean.
All you need is:
- A small towel
- A clean spray bottle with a mixture of 50% water, 50% vinegar (apple cider or white wine vinegar)
- A microfibre cloth
- Vaseline
- Newspaper/kitchen cloth
- No Stink Glove Deodoriser (or some baking soda and a hoover)
You can clean your gloves following these steps:
Step 1) Take your dirty boxing gloves out of your gym bag and wipe the inside and outside of the glove with a small towel so that the excess moisture is absorbed.
Step 2) With your spray bottle and mixture, spray lightly (avoid over-soaking your gloves) into the inner hand-compartment and then wipe dry with your towel.
Step 3) Repeat the process with the outside of the glove, spraying with a light coating and wiping the moisture away.
Step 4) Put a dab of vaseline on the outside of your gloves and wipe it all over with your microfibre cloth for a nice shine and leather protection.
Step 5) Scrunch up some newspaper or some kitchen roll and put them into your gloves to dry out overnight.
Note: Avoid placing your gloves under direct sunlight or on top of a radiator because this can damage the material.
Step 6) Insert your No Stink glove deodoriser and let it sit here until you’re ready to use your gloves again.
Alternatively, you can place a tbsp of bicarbonate of soda (baking soda if you’re outside of the U.K.) into the inside of your gloves and then vacuum it out as the powder is a smell repellent.
